What makes the Highland Lakes so terrific is that you can make new friends with common interests! We have several sub-groups from our general membership who meet monthly. Take a look at the list below and click for a description and contact information.
We would love for you to participate in as few or as many as you like. There is no cost to join most of these groups if you are a paid member of the club.
Bible Study
If you are interested in participating in a morning bible study group, please contact Kristi Bramblett at 437-9933 or kristibramblett@bellsouth.net.

Book Club
We read a book each month and meet at a member's home. All are welcome - just bring yourself and your opinions of the book. If you are interested contact Cathy Enders 408-7072 or cathye123@bellsouth.net.
Members will read We Need to Talk about Kevin by Lionel Shriver for the May Book Club discussion. The meeting wil be held on Tuesday,May 20, at 7 p.m. More information wil be emailed to Book Club members.

Garden Club
Highland Lakes Garden Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month (September through May) at 7 p.m. for refreshments and a program related to gardening. Several socials and field trips are also planned for the upcoming year. Expertise in gardening is not required! Garden Club will meet Saturday, May 17, at 7 p.m. at the home of Liz Jones, 100 Ashford Circle. This will be the end of the season meeting/picnic.
Girls’ Night Out
Girls just want to have fun!....at least that's how that old song goes! Let's meet this month and get to know everyone in the group and plan some fun things to do this year. I think all of us ladies need to get a break from sports, work, kids etc...so join up! It's not too late!

Lunch Bunch
This fun group meets once a month (usually the second Friday of the month) to try different dining experiences! It is a great way to try new restaurants, catch up with old friends, or make new ones. If you would like more information, please call Margie Sabino at 981-2940.
Moms and Tots
We meet at various times at various places! Moms chat while the kids play (run wild). Light snacks are served. Everyone is welcome and don’t forget the kids! Also, during the warm months, many parents meet in Highland Park on the last Friday of every month at 5 P.M. to socialize while the kids play. Join us!

Sassy “Senior”itas
